Lastearst: allergia on pea veerandil koolilastel
Tartu ülikooli kliinikumi lastearst Tiia Voori sõnul on näiteks Tartus 10-12-aastastest lastest pea igal neljandal mingisugune allergiakaebus.
Baltimaades on Soome, Rootsi ja Saksamaaga võrreldes allergiahaigusi ikkagi vähem. Küll aga näitasid rahvusvahelise ISAAC-i uuringu tulemused, et Eesti lastel esineb allergiaid sagedamini kui Lätis-Leedus, vahendab Eesti Päevaleht.
Voori sõnul on viimase kümne aasta jooksul allergia Eestis kindlasti sagedasemaks muutunud.
