Tulevast sügisest võimaldatakse tasuta gripivaktsineerimist kõigile vanemaealistele
Sotsiaalminister Tanel Kiik allkirjastas riikliku immuniseerimiskava muudatused, millega võimaldatakse alates tuleva aasta 1. oktoobrist gripivastast vaktsineerimist kõigile 65-aastatele ja vanematele inimestele haigekassa toel. Lisaks laiendatakse vaktsineerimise õigusega õdede ringi. Edaspidi saavad vaktsineerida kõik iseseisva õendusabi pakkujad.
«Covid-19 pandeemia tõttu on suurenenud vajadus kaitsta vanemaealisi, kes on ka gripi kõige haavatavam riskirühm. Seepärast võimaldame tasuta gripivastast vaktsineerimist alates 2021. aasta 1. oktoobrist kõigile 65-aastastele ja vanematele inimestele, et vähendada gripiviirusest tingitud haigestumist ning enneaegset suremust,» ütles sotsiaalminister Tanel Kiik.
Alates 2019. aastast tasub haigekassa üldhooldekodude ja erihooldekodude elanike gripivastase vaktsineerimise eest. Aastatel 2019 ja 2020 on immuniseerimiskava alusel hooldekodude vaktsineerimiseks vajalikud gripivaktsiini doosid hankinud riik. Ülejäänud elanikkonna vaktsineerimiseks vajalikud vaktsiinikogused jõudsid Eestisse apteegivõrgu kaudu.
«Praeguse gripihooaja kogemus näitas, et nõudluse suurenemise korral ei pruugi jaemüügi kaudu Eestisse tarnitavatest vaktsiinikogustest riskirühmade vaktsineerimiseks piisata. Seetõttu on mõistlik tagada vaktsineerimise võimalus kõigile vanemaealistele riigi poolt,» lisas Kiik.
Tasuta gripivastast vaktsineerimist 65+ elanikkonnale hakatakse võimaldama alates gripihooajast 2021/2022.
Muudatusega laieneb ühtlasi tervishoiuteenuse osutajate ring, kes saavad immuniseerida. Edaspidi saavad immuniseerida kõik iseseisva õendusabiteenuse osutajad, kes on eelnevalt läbinud immuniseerimisalase täiendusõppekursuse.
Gripihooajal 2018/2019 haigestus grippi hinnanguliselt 45 000 – 55 000 inimest ning raske gripi või gripiga seotud pneumoonia tõttu hospitaliseeriti 1662 inimest ja suri 57 inimest. 2018/2019. hooajal vaktsineeriti kokku 92 529 inimest, mis moodustab Eesti elanikkonnast 7,02 protsenti, nendest 10,2 protaenti vanemaealisi. 2019/2020. aasta gripihooajal vaktsineeriti ca 135 000 inimest, mis moodustab Eesti elanikkonnast 10,2 protsenti ning vanemaealiste hulgas saavutati hõlmatus 15,1 protsenti.
